Why democrats love four dollar gas now and will hate it if they win the presidency.

Democrats have typically been viewed as stronger on economy and when the economy is hurting they gain political power. With gas at four dollars a gallon and moving higher, the economy is tanking. Everything from the daily commute to transportation of groceries costs more and is putting a damper on the American Consumer. With the price of energy on the rise and the people unhappy with the current administration, the Democrats star is on the rise. The unfortunate truth is that while the Democrats benefit from the high cost of energy they have no real solutions.

          Today's news:

Obama had a strategy session today. First he sent a memo to his supporters telling them the appropriate response to all questions concerning his associations, experience, or for anyone that isn't going to vote for him is to call them racist, followed by stupid for wanting a third Bush term, and finally as a last resort tell them that they are personally responsible for American deaths in Iraq. Obama also detailed his strategy for the unlikely event that he were to lose.
Today's News

          In today's news:

Politics

Democratic candidate and presumptive president Barack Obama gave a speech at fisherman's wharf in San Francisco. The speech was
focused on how Obama plans to change America to a Vegan, socialist utopia, returning us to a more sane pre-industrial lifestyle.
After discussing his plans for the great new society; much to this reporters amazement Obama quietly stepped off the dock and
walked on water back to shore. Most of the crowd seemed completely unsurprised by this event, one person even commenting that he
was surprised it hadn't happened before.

On the way to the shore, to ask Obama some questions I was able to interview one star eyed supporter. When asked what the
supporter thought of the content of Obama's speech, the reply was simply, "I've seen Obama speak three or four times, I never
can remember exactly what he says but the way he says it sends a thrill up my leg."

Upon catching up with Obama, I asked about his amazing ability to walk on water, Obama looked confused at the question replying
only that he had been doing it since a child and he thought everyone except republicans could.

On the other side of the country the spiteful, hate filled, untrustworthy Hillary Clinton was busy trying to seat the delegates
from the obviously racist states of Florida and Michigan. Her argument being that democrats should not disenfranchise
voters in what may be battleground states.

In other news John McCain has not died yet.

Ebay can be a great place to purchase coins. There are some things to watch out for when buying coins on ebay. Be smart
avoid the common pitfalls and enjoy yourself. If you are purchasing premium coins, consider buying them from a dealer or
at a coin show where you can hold them and examine them.

What If Copyrights Only Lasted For Five Years?

A recent article in informationweek.com proposed limiting the term of copyright to five years as a way to deal with the recording industries recent abusive lawsuits. The results of such a change would be far reaching and immediate.

If the proposed change were ever introduced in congress the first response by the affected industries, would be a preemptive strike in congress. Airlines would have to add extra flights to handle the massive traffic from the lobbiests flying in from across the country in an attempt to stop the bill. If somehow the bill made it through congress despite the massive lobbying and the enormous sums of money that would be thrown at legislators the industry would be changed forever.

Why Global Warming Just Does Not Matter

Global warming is “the” issue for many environmentalists. Unfortunately the evidence for man made global warming is complex and despite protests to the contrary often disputed as inaccurate. Another problem with global warming as a means to push for environmental change is that many groups are using global warming to promote agendas that are not necessarily related to global warming, by associating global warming with their agendas people are muddying the issue. There are many reasons to break our addiction to fossil fuels that have nothing at all to do with global warming, these should not be overshadowed by the global warming debate.
