Why democrats love four dollar gas now and will hate it if they win the presidency.

Democrats have typically been viewed as stronger on economy and when the economy is hurting they gain political power. With gas at four dollars a gallon and moving higher, the economy is tanking. Everything from the daily commute to transportation of groceries costs more and is putting a damper on the American Consumer. With the price of energy on the rise and the people unhappy with the current administration, the Democrats star is on the rise. The unfortunate truth is that while the Democrats benefit from the high cost of energy they have no real solutions.

          Today's news:

Obama had a strategy session today. First he sent a memo to his supporters telling them the appropriate response to all questions concerning his associations, experience, or for anyone that isn't going to vote for him is to call them racist, followed by stupid for wanting a third Bush term, and finally as a last resort tell them that they are personally responsible for American deaths in Iraq. Obama also detailed his strategy for the unlikely event that he were to lose.
Why Global Warming Just Does Not Matter

Global warming is “the” issue for many environmentalists. Unfortunately the evidence for man made global warming is complex and despite protests to the contrary often disputed as inaccurate. Another problem with global warming as a means to push for environmental change is that many groups are using global warming to promote agendas that are not necessarily related to global warming, by associating global warming with their agendas people are muddying the issue. There are many reasons to break our addiction to fossil fuels that have nothing at all to do with global warming, these should not be overshadowed by the global warming debate.

Environmentalism Part 2

The first article in this series was about how some of the people in the environmental movement are it's worst enemy. People that are insulting, smug, abusive or know-it-alls simply turn people off of the whole green movement. The first article tried to argue that people who are primarily concerned with the environment should make it the primary focus of their energy and leave out arguments about socialism, gay rights, atheism, and animal rights. This piece attempts to clarify some of those points.

You next car may be electric. It might not happen in the next couple of years but it could happen in the next five to ten years. Electric vehicles are popping up everywhere.
