Democrats have typically been viewed as stronger on economy and when the economy is hurting they gain political power. With gas at four dollars a gallon and moving higher, the economy is tanking. Everything from the daily commute to transportation of groceries costs more and is putting a damper on the American Consumer. With the price of energy on the rise and the people unhappy with the current administration, the Democrats star is on the rise. The unfortunate truth is that while the Democrats benefit from the high cost of energy they have no real solutions.

Obama had a strategy session today. First he sent a memo to his supporters telling them the appropriate response to all questions concerning his associations, experience, or for anyone that isn't going to vote for him is to call them racist, followed by stupid for wanting a third Bush term, and finally as a last resort tell them that they are personally responsible for American deaths in Iraq. Obama also detailed his strategy for the unlikely event that he were to lose.
